The Benefits of Cold Water Therapy


"The reason why I love getting or immersing myself into cold water is that it really reduces inflammation throughout your body. It’s amazing for muscle recovery, but it also turbocharges the dopamine and serotonin hormones and these are basically your happy hormones. You just get out of the water and you feel immediately much more elevated and much more in a happier state."


"Getting into cold water, you're kind of going through controlled stress. So when you get out of it, anything that you might have thought was hard becomes a lot easier. Whether that's a difficult email or anything within that day that you thought would be hard - it just becomes a lot easier to deal with. I find it is amazing for focusing, you really have to focus when you get in that water as you have to control your breathing. You have to just drown everything out - not literally drown, thank you! - but drown everything out of your mind. You just become incredibly focused."

There's so many incredible benefits and the science now is saying how beneficial it is for you -  it's become part of our daily routine.
